Petroglyph spirals can be found throughout the world. Some, thousands of years old and some, hundreds. Some may mean a life’s journey. Others align with the solstice or a celestial event. I was fascinated with the way this one in New Mexico aligned perfectly with Polaris. I left my camera running all night as the Earth turned and I slept.
